01 / The Assessment

Coach Pollard speaks on how Virginia uses this data to evaluate and develop its players, while Maven staff and biomechanists break down your Maven Score.
03 / The Reassessment
Return to the Virginia Lab at a later date for a full reassessment, so Virginia Baseball staff can see your improvement.

Grades 8–12 and junior college players.
Open to any and all entrants within the age range.
Bring your own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, a hat, and any other equipment they feel is necessary to compete.
All assessments require turf shoes or sneakers.

The Maven Assessment Day is hosted at Ted Davenport Field at Disharoon Park in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Virginia Lab is located at Disharoon Park. Your exact time slot is sent out before the event.
Get DirectionsRegistration is handled through the Cavalier Baseball Camps site. Choose the assessment that fits (hitter, pitcher, or two-way) from the registration card above. There is a limit of 5 per order. Your exact time slot is assigned after you register.
The day runs Sunday, November 1, from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. The schedule is tentative and subject to change. Your time slot will be assigned and sent out before the event. Please arrive 60 minutes before your scheduled time.
